Situated atop the high-end S Maison retail complex overlooking Manila Bay, the Conrad Manila features architecture inspired by luxury cruise liners. The project required furniture that reflects this "floating vessel" aesthetic with fluid lines and modern elegance. The primary challenge was the tropical marine climate. High humidity and salinity necessitated strictly controlled moisture content (10-12%) for all woodwork and marine-grade anti-corrosion treatments (SS316 standard) for hardware to prevent oxidation, while strictly adhering to LEED Gold sustainability standards.

We analyzed the Conrad "Smart Luxury" standards to optimize shop drawings, ensuring structural integrity for the unique curved designs seen in the lobby.
Produced full-scale prototypes for the MUR. Special focus was placed on verifying the durability of high-gloss finishes against humidity and friction.
All substrates underwent 4-step anti-termite and anti-mold treatments. CNC precision was used for the intricate geometric patterns in the headboards.
Products were packed with reinforced edge protectors for sea freight. We provided color-coded floor plans to assist the installation team in Manila.
