Project Requirements & Challenges

Situated in the bustling heart of London, this project required high-efficiency use of compact guest room spaces while maintaining the energetic and friendly "Hamptonality" vibe. Key manufacturing challenges included adhering to strict **UK Fire Safety Regulations (Crib 5 Standard)** for all upholstery and foam, utilizing high-durability finishes to withstand high occupancy rates, and designing modular "Hub" lobby furniture that facilitates both social interaction and remote work.

Manufacturing & Implementation Process

Hampton Brand Compliance Review

We audited the design against the **Global Hampton Design Guide**, focusing on the signature headboard functionality and "Hub" area ergonomics.

UK Fire Safety Certification

Prior to mass production, all fabric and foam samples were sent to SGS labs to certify compliance with **BS 5852 (Crib 5)** ignition source regulations.

Modular Production

To accommodate London's limited installation windows, furniture was designed as modular components for rapid on-site assembly.

Logistics & Labeling

Detailed room-by-room labeling and palletized loading ensured efficient distribution from the container to the 278 individual guest rooms.
